KEY TO:
GENETIC TREND VALIDATION (production) FILE FORMAT
1. 010= Bull National Production Proof File; 015=Bull National Conformation Proof File; 115=Bull National Brown Swiss Conformation Proof File; 016=Bull National Milk Somatic Cell and Clinical Mastitis Proof File; 040=File for Genetic Trend Validation (production); 045=File for Genetic Trend Validation (conformation); 046= File for Genetic Trend Validation (milk somatic cell and clinical mastitis).
2. Same bull pedigree information as shown in bytes 4-109 in the file with record type=010.
3. Number of new (first calving) daughters considered in the last available national genetic evaluation in each year, where YYYY is the year of the most recent routine genetic evaluation run whose results will be included in the international evaluation.
4. Mean year of first calving of daughters on which the bull’s national evaluation in year YYYY-4 was based.
5. Same information as shown in bytes 186-277 in the file with record type=010, but pertaining to the last available national genetic evaluation for dairy-production traits in year YYYY-4, where YYYY is the year of the most recent routine genetic evaluation run whose results will be included in the international evaluation.
General: If numbers of daughters are the same for protein as for milk/fat, information must be repeated (do not leave it blank).
