Official GEBV test rules:

  • GEBV validation should be performed the first time a country joins Interbull genomic evaluations (or simply validations) and every two years afterwards. Then validation is needed whenever there is a major change either in the genomic evaluation or in the conventional evaluation. Additionally, if there is a major change in the reference population a new validation should be required.
